The De Laune Cycling Club is proud to be one of the oldest cycling clubs in the country; with a history covering three centuries (well almost!) - we were founded in 1889. Based in the south-east of London we have around 130 members. A mixed club with a wide range of abilities, activities and ages. Members are mainly located in London (particularly, but not only South East London), Kent and Surrey but some members have remained loyal and active despite moving further afield. The Club committee currently meet on the second Monday of each month, from eight o'clock onwards, which is a good opportunity to ask questions about any of the club activities. We are involved with most levels of the sport - racing including Time-Trials, Track, Off-Road, Road/Circuit, Triathlons and Rollers; as well as participation in Sportive/Challenge events, Sunday Club Runs and many social functions. The Club is affiliated to all of the leading cycling associations.
