About Ellis Briggs
Our family has been serving the cycling needs of Shipley and the surrounding area since 1936. We have the knowledge, skills and experience that only come with 73 years of selling, repairing and manufacturing bikes, not kitchens, furniture, sportswear or motor spares. Unlike most bike shops we also manufacture our own bicycles, and that doesn't mean importing them from Taiwan and sticking our transfers on them. From start to finish our bicycles are manufactured in our workshops. On our website you will find no mail-order and no online ordering because we believe the only way we can maintain our excellent service is to provide it in person. Internet shops cannot provide the advice and knowledge of our staff, who have over 130 years of cycling experience (collectively of course).
