Description: What TheCyclePeople.com say: Do you have a longer commute, or just want to get there a bit faster? The Trek 7.2 FX includes their Ride Longer features, such as a fitness-specific Bontrager Nebula saddle and Ergo grips to provide a fatigue-free ride. Combine that with a lightweight alloy frame, and cro-moly fork, (with Clix dropouts for worry-free wheel removal) and you?ve got a package that combines comfort and safety. Add in some alloy wheels, powerful Tektro V brakes, reliable Shimano shifters, and you?ve got the performance angle covered too.
Of course, the upright riding position and a mountain bike style handlebar provide an extra measure of comfort and visibility wherever the road takes you. And there are little details that make a big difference to commuters, like a chainguard to keep the grease off your clothes, and lowrider rack mounts on the fork, as well as rear mounts.
Available in Newport Blue, and 5 sizes from 15?-25?, the Trek 7.2 FX blends speed, comfort, and performance into a lively and stylish package.
What Trek say: Ride Longer with Trek?s most versatile line of bikes yet! The Trek 7.2 FX is the perfect blend of a fast ride with a familiar, upright riding geometry.
