Clix technology makes it easy to remove the front wheel for repairing a flat, but it?s nearly impossible for the front wheel to come off unintentionally. By the way, those wheels are built with alloy rims and hubs, wrapped up in some fast rolling 700x35 rubber. Reliable Shimano gears make up the ?Go? part of the drivetrain, while stopping is accomplished by way of powerful V brakes. Whether you?re going to work, school, or the market, the mountain bike style handlebars provide a comfortable upright riding position, and the Bontrager Sport saddle is mated to a micro-adjust post to give you the best fit possible. Trek was even thoughtful enough to include mounts for racks/panniers, as well as a large chainguard to keep grease off your trousers. Available in one color (Matte Silver) and 5 men?s sizes from 15?-25?, and three step-through ladies sizes from 15.5?-20?, this is a commuter bike for the cyclist that wants a little extra performance.
