Description: What TheCyclePeople.com say: The 2009 Aspect 55 is another entry level model, but with disc brakes. It features a 6061 alloy frame with a Suntour XCM-H fork.
To meet the low pricepoint, the spec is mostly a mix of entry level Shimano products, and Scott's own branded bits, but in a step up from the base model, it includes Shimano mechanical disc brakes and a Ritchey headset. This reliable yet affordable mix should provide years of trouble-free service. The frame's geometry is relaxed rather than agressive, as this bike is aimed at the beginner.
What Scott say: The Aspect line is light, efficient, engineered with hydro-formed alloy tubes and comfortable geometry to allow entry level cyclists to maximize their mountain bike experience.
