Shimano 8 speed Deore drivetrain combines an 11-34T cassette with a 22-32-44T SR Suntour XCR chainset for a wide spread of gears. Kenda Nevegal 2.1 tyres are widely regarded as the ultimate tyre for all-conditions and is consistently voted magazine test winner.
