Description: Pashley have been making bikes in Stratford-upon-Avon since 1926 and have been building Moultons under licence for some time.
The Pashley-Moulton TSR range is based on a variation of the AM spaceframe. It comprises a number of models, all aimed at a different type of rider but each offering Pashley's traditionally high standard of workmanship and components.
The TSR8 is one of the best everyday bikes available anywhere. It's 8 speed Sturmey Archer rear hub combined with Pashley's superb Moulton frame make for a supremely comfortable ride without breaking the bank.
The Pashley-Moulton spaceframe is fitted out with exactly the right components for a general purpose bike. A Sturmey-Archer Phoenix hub gives simple and instant gear changes. The wide 32-99 gear inch range and 8 speeds mean the right gear will always be only a twist of the wrist away.
Schwalbe Stelvio tyres with matching tubes on Alex DA16 20" rims give superb grip in all conditions. Combine that with Tektro brakes and levers and you also have superb stopping ability.
Like all TSRs it's available with the optional separable frame. This makes it easy to drop into the boot of the car or the luggage rack of the train to work. Combined with it's low 12.5Kg weight it then becomes a practical commuter bike and the neat and tidy hub gears really come into their own.
The TSR8 is designed to be an everyday, low maintenance bicycle. This is not a bike you need to tinker with, you simply pick it up and ride it. The only problem is you won't want to stop when you get there.
