So for the advanced rider that doesn?t mind spending a bit more, there?s the Blast Deluxe. What?s the Deluxe model get to make it deluxe? How about Shimano?s hydraulic disc brakes, and 9 speed drivetrain? The frame is made from better tubing, in this case, Kona?s own butted All-Mountain alloy tubing, which allows more strength with less weight. Hanging off the front is a Rock Shox Dart 2 providing 100mm of travel, helping to keep the 26x2.1 Maxxis Ignitors planted to the ground. Available in sizes 14", 16", 17", 18", 19", 20", and 22", the brake and drivetrain upgrades make it worth a second look.
