Description: What TheCyclePeople say: Ok, they designed it, built it, and then had to come up with a name for it. A quick trip through some backcountry on this sweet hardtail, and the name suddenly seemed very obvious. The Kona Blast.
The nine tubes that make up this sweet ride are Kona?s own lightweight 7000 series alloy frame (butted for low weight/high strength) and it?s got a Rock Shox fork hanging off the front, with 100mm of travel which can be locked out for climbing. The Blast is ready for good times. Naturally, the drivetrain is a reliable mix of Shimano 8 speed components and FSA cranks. For better stopping power, it?s got Hayes disc brakes. Top it off with Alex rims wrapped in Maxxis rubber, and it?s a pretty solid build.
Available in sizes 14", 16", 17", 18", 19", 20", and 22", this is one Kona that looks like a Blast to ride.
